Okay, so the first thing you need to know is, children scare me. A lot. I've been afraid of them ever since I was old enough to babysit. When I was babysitting my cousin, I use to keep an eye on the window (I'm afraid of windows too) and the other on the door of his room. And all that while trying to watch tv. My biggest fear was to turn around and see him standing in the middle of the room, staring at me. *shivers*

Last night, my stepmom gave me a link to watch a clip from a morning show that airs here, in Quebec. What I heard chilled me to the bone. If you understand French, you can find the clip on this page. (entrevue à la télé>>2 Filles Le Matin)

For the others, let me tell you the story of
When Anick Lapratte gave birth to her second child, things didn't go as smoothly as she hoped. Little Marie-Claude almost died when Anick's cervix closed itself on the baby. After a couple of hours spent in the care of the doctors, Marie-Claude was finally given to her mother. That's when freaky things started to happen. While making that first connection happen with her son had been easy, trying to do the same thing with Marie-Claude was harder. Especially when Anick suddenly find herself staring into empty baby eyes. (Eeeeek!)

During her first years on Earth, Marie-Claude spent a lot of time in hospitals, for various reasons. At home, Anick was still trying to make that connection happen. Unfortunately, nothing was easy. Marie-Claude was a hyper little girl, and sometimes, her mother noticed her changing. Her eyes would suddenly go empty, and her behaviours would change. Anick tried to talk about it with her husband, but not having experienced similar moments with his daughter, he didn't really know what to say to her. One day, though, he got to see his daughter change right before his eyes. They were making a puzzle when suddenly, Marie-Claude looked at his dad and slapped him. She was only three years old. (Gah! Just thinking about what's to come makes me shivers.)

While their daughter's "crisis" were starting to grow in numbers, both parents were trying to find a solution. Want an example of what these crisis were like? Once, Anick cam into the bathroom and found her make up all over the floor, her lipstick opened and completely squished on the floor. She didn't think much of it, and started putting her make up back where it was before. Marie-Claude came into the room, looked at her with these eyes that weren't hers, and simply said:"No." She then took all the lipsticks that wre left and squished them on the floor, one after an other. That's when Annick and her husband took her to a psychiatrist.

They were "lucky", and Marie-Claude had a crisis right in front of the psychiatris, who diagnosed her with a multiple personality disorder. They were put on a waiting list to get treatment. Don't forget that Marie-Claude isn't even four, yet.

While waiting, they started to look for different ways to cure their daughters. They tried osteopathy, which seemd to appease little Marie-Claude for a while. Nothing could have prepared them for the biggest crisis their daughter had.

One afternoon, her son run through the house screaming that his sister wanted to hurt him. She was him run to his bedroom, followed by his sister who was holding a toy sword. Anick rand to the bedroom and told her son to get out as fast as he could. Once her son was safe, she closed the door and held it shut. Marie-Claude tried to open the door, and Anick was getting weak, so she tied the door to the stairs with her belt. She held her son and cried while she listened to her 3 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER screaming and trying to open the door. Once the door stopped shaking, Anick heard various banging noises in the bedroom. The noises went on for a couple of minutes. When it stopped, Anick waited a little before opening the door. After her crisis, Marie-Claude usually went limp and started crying. However, when Anick finally opened the door, her crying daughter wasn't the sight she had. Marie-Claude was sitting on the floor, facing a wall. She slowly turned toward her mother and started giggling. He face was covered in blood, and she had been doodling on the wall with her own blood. (omgomgomgomg, I'm gonna have nightmares, again)

Of course, she got really scared and called her husband right away. When he came home, Marie-Claude was fine. Anick told the story to her osteopath, who asked her is she had an open mind. Anick was ready for anything to cure her little girl, so she was given the name of someone who did exorcists.

Alright, I'm kind of getting tired to write now, so long story short, they went to see the exorcist guy, Marie-Claude freaked out (she was mumbling, walking in circles and trying to leave the room, even tried to open windows), exorsist guy told them there was more than one soul in Marie-Claude's body, he performed the exorcist and now Marie-Claude is fine and never had a crisis after that.

Oh, but a forgot to mention another freaky thing. Marie-Claude often got up during the night and walked around the house mumbling to herself. OMG I don't think I'll be able to babysit ever again.

Moral of the story? Kids are creepy, yo.

P.S. I'm using a Papa Winchester icon because I want to protect me against creepy children from hell. I think I'll have to sleep with a picture of the Winchesters boys under my pillow now.

Me too. I typed the story during the day, and I couldn't stop taking a look over my shoulder every ten minutes.
