As anyone ever worked in a shop before its opening? I'm starting to work at an unopened drugstore for a month tomorrow, and I have no idea what is expected of me. It is quite stressful.

I have. It was just three days but... the store was newly opening and bare so whilst there we were just putting stock out and pricing things up and getting it ready for opening. It might be similar for you, but good luck with it anyway.
